Innablr scales horizontally to become a CNCF Kubernetes Certified Service Provider (KCSP)

As organisations continue their business transform programs, Innablr empowers them by accelerating the adoption of innovative new cloud native technologies.

The foundation of these new data-driven and business critical applications is Kubernetes, a container orchestration platform first developed at Google and now governed by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).

Today, Innablr is proud to announce we have qualified as a Kubernetes Certified Service Provider (KCSP), the first local Melbourne partner to do so. We are also active members of the CNCF and Linux Foundation.

The Kubernetes Certified Service Provider program gives businesses confidence that they can work with trusted partners who have commitment to Kubernetes and the broader cloud native ecosystem.

This is a logical step as Innablr has long been helping our clients design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes platforms and containerised applications. You can also regularly see us hosting the Melbourne Kubernetes Meetup, with frequent customer lunch enablement sessions, and speaking sessions at local conferences.

A number of our cloud engineers have achieved the CNCF Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) certification, led by our very own Chief Technology Officer Prateek Nayak.

Why is this important?

No matter what, every large organisation needs technology in some form, and every single one of those organisations will inevitably start to use technologies born in the cloud.

The race is on and those that adopt and transform quickly will have a significant competitive advantage over those still grappling with legacy environments.

If done correctly this transformation will deliver agility, resilience, increased revenue, cost savings, and speed of change to delight customers and stay ahead of your competitors. These new technologies and approaches also help you attract top tier talent so you can hire the best and brightest people.

Core to all of Innablr’s work is the value new technologies bring to enablement of enterprises, so it is a natural evolution for us to ‘double down’ on open source and Kubernetes.

Our CEO, Dan Hornby says “We look forward to getting even more deeply involved in open source and the cloud native community: We believe big advances in technology must come from open collaboration and not closed competition.”

Open source, and know-how, gives Innablr the tools to arrive at a brand new client and provide them with the knowledge and work of many 1,000s of developers and millions of hours of work that go into making cloud native technologies what they are today.
